Micah Beth Goebel started Valentine & Garuda
Micah Beth Goebel started Valentine & Garuda to provide an outlet for both her oddball creativity and her retailing expertise. The sites original focus was on found and homemade items and vintage clothing of all varieties, but after considering her lifelong love-hate affair with her home state, she expanded her business to include SINtucky andLet's Get Skanky!items. After all, born and bred at the bottom of Kentucky (Murray) and eventually settling toward the top (Henderson), Goebel can easily claim authority and authenticity when merchandising all things KY.
Wow! I nearly forgot. I've been contemplating changing my site. There's something I like about the site http://www.alectronic.com. Not certain exactly just what yet needed feedback 🙂 Feedback on this would be terrific. Alright I'll get back to it!
As a child, Micah got the true Kentucky experience quilting, crafting, and creating with her grandmother in tiny Dexter, Kentucky. She grew up in Murray, whose bustling Murray State University campus provided a big-city vibe juxtaposed against the rest of the town. It was from MSU that she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business.
In terms of merchandising, Micah has had her fill of every sort of retailing scenario, from corporate chains (assistant manager at Tuesday Morning) to second-hand (as in downtown merchant malls) to getting e-bay down to a fine art. For Valentine & Garuda, she has scavenged the depths of Kentucky to find unique vintage items and clothing that no big-city vintage boutique is likely to offer. In other words, this gal knows how to shop.
I want to give the deserved credit for this article partly to http://fehrgameoutfitters.com. I got the idea for this from I little piece I read up on from there website.
